Our Programs

Four programs. One mission: unlock confidence.

Each program is designed to meet a real need — practical, emotional, or aspirational — and works together to help students thrive.

Clothing Voucher Program

We provide clothing vouchers that allow high school students to choose their own outfits. This helps students build independence, confidence, and a positive self-image while making sure they have what they need for school and daily life.

Meet The Founder

Meet Jacqueline Burkhardt

Founder, Cuts for Confidence Initiative

My name is Jackie, founder of Cuts for Confidence Initiative. My passion has always been helping children feel confident, supported, and valued.

Over the years, I have seen how a lack of basic necessities can affect a child's self-esteem and ability to succeed. Something as simple as having appropriate clothing, a fresh haircut, or access to positive guidance can make a tremendous difference in how a young person sees themselves.

These experiences inspired me to create Cuts for Confidence Initiative — a nonprofit dedicated to helping children and teens build confidence through clothing vouchers, personal development opportunities, scholarships, and community support.

I wanted to create a program that gives young people the chance to shop for themselves, express their individuality, and feel proud of who they are. What drives me every day is knowing that confidence can open doors.

When children believe in themselves, they are more likely to succeed in school, pursue their dreams, and become leaders in their communities. My goal is to ensure that every child we serve feels seen, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Through Cuts for Confidence Initiative, I am committed to creating lasting change — one child, one family, and one act of confidence at a time.

"Confidence can open doors."
— Jackie Burkhardt
